A number of wordpress plugins and widgets are in the pipeline. First off the rack was the Ical events plugin. Next of a series is a breadcrumb navigation widget, that offers a default “apple.com” like style, with minimal css.
Work has started on a Tab Folder Style Menu - ie not a fold pages style where the current child pages are nested, but a set of listed pages where each current subsidiary level is listed after the parent list is complete. This allows one to present navigation tabs as in use on this site and as described in the Yahoo Developer Network
The Sandbox plus theme is undergoing testing. Based on Sandbox, if offers widget enabled header and footer, as well as a few other additional features that I needed.
