A post is an article or newsletter that is entered or posted to the system. It is typically written on a particular date, and may be filed under several categories. Posts can be viewed in many ways:
- by the most recent (usually on the front page or a news page)
- by category
- by author
- by month
To create a post, login to the admin section and click on Write > Post. The text can be entered using either the visual rich editor (default for most users) or the user can set their preference for a html quicktag editor if they are comfortable with html tags and elements.
A page is usually more static content. It could be content that needs higher visibility as it will can be more accesiible than an “old” post that will appear way down the category/archive structure.
