Over the years I have been asked to facilitate a variety of websites, domain name and hosting solutions. See the portfolio for examples. Generally this has been on a pro-bono basis.

Tools
For others I have begun putting together templates that may assist you - a small fee will be charged. I have no wish to charge any ongoing fees - my aim is to enable small enterprises to be in charge of their own websites. Therefore I prefer to use a content management system that allows both you and I to maintain the web sites from anywhere with a browser. This enables you to maintain your content at little or no cost, while still allowing me to support you if necessary.
For content management I prefer wordpress . It has the virtues of simplicity and XHTML compliancy, as well as being reasonably well supported free open source.
What does it cost?
For as little as a one-off A$250, we could get you up and running with a standard template solution (Domain name, hosting account, CMS installed with basic configuration, and a copy to a test or training area for you to practise on). You can add your content via a simple web browser interface. Or if you are reasonably technologically enabled and web literate, you could get yourself going with some recommendations for domain names and hosting. Note: ongoing domain name and hosting costs start from about about US$70 a year (excludes ISP access).
I also use client side html editing tools and direct editing of php, html and css for tailored control and web application development. All such products are tested on our own servers before anything goes live.
