FYI –
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Hi deactivate the amr- iCal-events-list plugin. They share exactly the same code – to keep settings do not delete just deactivate.
I wonder if there is a way to auto deactivate ? – anyone know?

Still have not had my coffee this morning, but had a quickl look at the latest zip and seems I was probably right the first time – only one version of the 2 plugins should be active at any time. (It’s mostly the same code, same settings etc for the listing part as the free version).
There was a superfluous file in the zip, but that should not have caused the error – it looks more like you have the free version still activated.
ALSO note that to list the newly created events in wordpress, the shortcode is [ events ] – you can still put the ics in etc and if there are no wordpress events, the result will be just like the free version.
The [ ical ] shortcode ONLY does ical files, not wordpress events. So if you have that you will ONLY see the external file.
So one has the flexibility to go either way. The shortcodes both call and use the same code for the listing part.

Ok, yes. Needed to deactivate Ical Events list first. Do you think there will be a way to change the “Events” permilink to say, “concerts”?

Hah! A question I keep asking with many plugins where I do not always like their choice of words that appear in the front end. I have been hatching an idea but lots of projects on the go…..
Using a dummy language (say en-cm) you could “translate” any words in i18n enabled plugins to your dummy language. Only need to do the ones that you want to do as wp will just use what is given if there is no translation. See code-styling localisation plugin.
Maybe in a future update I may allow for >1 custompost type and then you can call them whatever you like?
No really easy option other than changing code and taking one out of the upgrade path.
