User directories or lists

If one is using a number of plugins to manage a membership site, one may find that one needs more customisable user lists than the pugins offer.The following plugins offer some kind of user directory.  Not quite what I am looking for though.   Will investigate further – may have to develop own…..

Reasonably well documented:

Profiles

• advanced profile management system
• add custom fields – could be useful
• no screenshots

Connections

• An address book / addressbook that is managed in the admin and embedded in a post/page.
• Upcoming birthdays and anniversaries can also be embedded in a post/page

Profiler

• more aimed at being that external members directory
• has screenshots

WordPress Users

• Aimed at showing an external member list on a page
• Does not use shortcode? Does it work in 2.8?
• No screenshots

author-listing

• list acrive and inactive authors
• no screenshots

Not much documentation:

• Creates a list of all users, registration date, and number of comments See link under ‘Manage’ to access page and checks email address against www.stopforumspam.com database.

Warp User Profile extension
